Markus de Alemania 11 Report post Posted March 4, 2012 Hello all, i will now start this subforum with an fotoreport of our todays flight from LIPX to EDMO. In my opinion this subforum should be used if somebody (like me :-)) wants to share special moments he had during flying with others or on his own. We choosed LIPX this Sunday afternoon because there was the VERONA MEGA FLY-IN + 2 DAYS LIVE ATC from MODEL EXPO ITALY. Therefore there was much traffic which caused some server problems for Chystu and one IVAP/FSX crash for me before departure. By the way with me EXU078 as so often :-) Chystu as EXU009 and Arturo as EXU069. departing in LIPX - from the Apron cross the RWY for taxi to RWY 04 Chystu with his GLF5 at the left on the right Arturo with his CRJ7 much traffic which again caused IVAP/Server Problems frozen Airbus on the taxiway we had to tell the Controller that EEP is not the same as EXU, he always called us European... gave instructions to taxi behind company aircraft and Arturo was really confused, now he knows EXU visibility 5000 BR at departure due to the fact that my C750 was climbing better than Arturo´s CRJ7 and i`m was already at cruise level the controller gave him vectors to the left for seperation arrival in EDMO with requested visual app. RWY04 (which is only possible during the day because of missing approach lights RWY04 (only HIRL, no PAPI or VASI) and is no IFR procedure) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Markus de Alemania 11 Report post Posted March 5, 2012 by the way the visibility in OBI (EDMO) was 6000 for me it is back home :-) Chystu´s arrival - he was also very brave and requested the visual approach RWY04, by the way, we were both flying absolutely legal, at MRVA until the field was in sight ! :-) two of the three lakes near EDMO, good for visual reference, Ammersee and Wörthsee (See means lake in german) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
